Happy Birthday Alligator Shaker Card

Hello crafty friends,

Melinda here with you and today I am sharing this fun shaker card featuring a sweet alligator image and sentiment from the Party Animal Stamp set. Here’s a look at my card.

My card is a standard A2 top folding card. I created and cut out the funky patterned paper
mat and added it onto a purple cardstock mat. I added all of that onto my orange cardstock base.

I created the balloon shaker element as well as the funky mat and
then cut them with my electronic die cut machine. I cut the cut image out several times and
glued the layers together to get the right thickness. That was so the sequins and glitter
could freely shake. I added some sequins and some glitter to it on the inside.
I used a strand of embroidery floss to give the balloon a string.

I then stamped the cute little gator image and then colored him in with my Copic markers.
I fussy cut him out and then mounted him onto the side of the balloon shaker.

I then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in black onto my patterned paper mat.
