Hello friends! I hope this post finds you well. It’s Danielle here with another Christmas card for Joy Clair Designs. Today’s card theme is a Merry Christmas Shaker Card idea! So, have you looked at the calendar lately?! We’re within the 2 week stretch until Christmas. Have you mailed any of your cards out yet? Dare I ask about gifts?!
Merry Christmas Shaker Card Idea Design
So, I’m using the Making Memories Digital Set, and if you’ve followed me at all, you’d know that I adore this stamp set. For this Merry Christmas Shaker Card Idea, I also used a sentiment from the Santa’s Favorite Digital Set. The pattern paper is from the Hello Christmas Paper Pad and I trim it down to 4.25 x 5.25 inches.
After I position and print out the stamp images and sentiment, I color the bears. I use a cool gray on the bears and light brown and dark red colors for their clothing. After I adhered the green paper to a 100 lb piece of card stock panel, I die cut the circles. I add acetate and foam tape on this card panel. Next, I add color coordinated bits into the circle cuts. Afterwards, I adhere the panel with the bears. Then, I adhere it to the card base. To enhance the overall design, I add circle die cut wreaths as an embellishment. I cover the wreaths with Wink of Stella and that finished off my card!!! What do you think?
