Happy Christmas Day. I wish you all are feeling well and you are enjoying the gifts. Maria Pilar here with a Happy New Year card coloring a mandala image.
I love mandalas and the peace they convey with their designs. For this reason, it seemed very appropriate to make a card wishing a Happy New Year by coloring a mandala.
CARD DETAILS
To create my card I used Santa’s Favorite Digital Set and Mandala Love . Firts of all, I sent to print them on White Smooth Card Stock .
Apart, I made a background with Distress Oxide inks also on white cardboard. While it was drying, I colored the mandala with Copics markers. Once the images were cut out, I began to make the composition on another piece of White Smooth Card Stock.
Firstly I glued the background with E-Z Runner Permanent Strips. The mandala is pasted with Crafty Foam Tape White to make it stand out because they both have the same color tones. In the center I glued a gold ribbon and, on it, I have printed the sentiment Happy New Year.
For the final touch, I added some golden enamel dots and added a few drops of Ranger’s Dylusions Fresh Lime inks.
