What are you grateful for? Hello, lovelies! It’s Marj again and I’m back for another project to share with you. I am grateful to all of you for stopping by and checking this beautiful project I made for you today.
This Turkey is from the Thanks Digital Stamp Set. Isn’t he adorable? I think I am and I had a lot of fun coloring it.
Without further ado let me tell you how I made this card…
To make this project, I started by printing the adorable turkey from the Thanks Digital Stamp Set to white card stock. Then, I used the Mood Board color for this month and added some flair to it as well. For my colors, I used the Arteza Ever Blend Ultra Markers using the darkest color to the lightest color.
Again I applied the color twice to make the color pop and as well as the image look bright and beautiful. Next, I used my scissors to fussy cut the image leaving a white border around it. The white border is always my thing and makes the image more visible and more attractive along with the beautiful colors.
In the meantime, once done coloring and fussy cutting, I set the image aside. I cut pieces of pattern papers to add some dimensions. By adding some pattern papers to a project, helps your image more fun and be more attractive.
To assemble the card…
First, I adhered the image to a die-cut using some strong glue. Also, using some double-sided tape I added it to my next layer which is the yellow design paper. In addition, I added some strong glue again and added it to the last layer.
To embellish my image, I used a white gel pen and added some dots on the face of Turkey. Then, added a zigzag design on the wings and as well as on the wings and wave design on the body.
To finish it off, I added the sentiment grateful and voila, we are done!
