Jingle All the Way – November Mood Board Inspiration

Happy Wednesday! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. For today’s card for the Joy Clair Blog, I created a a background of alcohol inks using Joy Clair Design‘s November Mood Board as inspiration. The finished project was a holiday card in non-traditional colors.

I used Joy Clair’s new digital stamp set called Jingle All the Way. This set, which includes 12 individual images, is part of the Merriest Moments 2022 collection recently released.

Card Details:

• Created a slimline card base (8.5″ x 3.5″) using Yupo paper.
• Mixed several alcohol inks and alcohol blending solution on Yupo paper.

• Used a hand “blower” to spread the inks and solution across the paper.
• Sized the digital sentiments “Jingle” and “all the way” on my computer to fit an slimline format, changed the color of the bottom sentiment to rust, and printed it out on white cardstock.
• Die cut the sentiments using a cross-stitched slimline frame die.
• Colored in the word “jingle” with a silver pen, colored the leaves with a purple pen, and added rust colored paint to the berries.

• Foam mounted the die cut panel to the front of the card.
• Added 3 purple pearls for a finishing touch!
