Hello crafty peeps! Marj here again for another project inspiration to share with you. For today’s project, I used the Funny Times Digital Stamp of Joy Clair Designs. This digital stamp is perfect for any paper crafter and card makers. It features 4 sentiments, the hot air balloon, and the super cute kitty. You can’t ask for more to this set. It is a perfect collection for any occasion.
I made a very simple card that can be replicated by anyone. I used a lot of dimensions using papers as I have a lot in my stash and they needed some love. For every project, I made I mostly used my plain cardstock as my panel and at the same time my base. So for a bit of a change, I decided to use my patterned papers.
I chose this stamp set because who wouldn’t choose this cute kitty? She’s super cute and she got style! Looking at her only is somewhat the other lady kitties will be intimidated lol! Anyways, I colored her using my Arteza Real Brush Pens. I really don’t put too much color on her because I want her to look stunning with a little bit of color. With her face, I put some shine as if she has some highlighter as movie stars.
With the heart background with our gorgeous kitty, I also used the Arteza Real Brush Pens. I made sure to put more color on one side and lighter on the other side.
My Card Assembly
After adding color to my image, I then cut my card base to 4.25 x 5.5 inches using my We R Memory Keepers Mini Guillotine Paper Cutter. Never goes dull and doesn’t give me any hassle in cutting papers. Next, I cut a panel of 4 x 5.25 patterned paper and adhered it to my base using the Smart Craft Glue. After that, I cut another piece of 3.75 x5 inches of patterned paper. I then glued it on top of my first layer. I let it sit for a bit to make sure it’s fully dry.
While my card base is drying, I decided to cut another piece of our cute kitty face and added some glitter or highlights on her face. Then, adhered it on top of the watercolored face. I wish you could see her cute little face. She’s like a superstar that has highlights and super gorgeous! After that, I added it to the front of the card and used the sentiment You’ve got Style from the Modern Duets Stamp Set.
