Hello there, Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a “Thank you” card that features the Joy Clair stamp collection, Hey Pumpkin, and uses warm fall-toned inks and two different stencils to create a textured effect. Perfect timing as autumn will be here soon, and the season of thanks is right behind.
This 4″x6″ clear photopolymer stamp set includes a large image with three pumpkins and flowers, plus one bible verse and four sentiments for fall and thanksgiving.
To start, I stamped the pumpkin image and “Thanks” sentiment on smooth white card stock. using black pigment ink. I sized it to layer over a rust card stock frame and an A2 card base. Then I lightly sponged several autumn shades of Distress Oxide inks around the image and sentiment. Next I laid a striped stencil over it and sponged the same colors, pressing down on the sponge a little harder this time.
When the inks were thoroughly dried, I laid a leaf stencil over the top and spread white embossing paste over it. When the paste dried, I went over the edges with the same Distress Oxide inks as before to deepen the intensity of the inks.
