Hi and welcome back, Joy here with a new project to share. Today I am featuring Blessed and Grateful , and the Seasonal Leaves Background Stamp.  This month we are collaborating with  Rinea, and I have chosen the Autumn Variety Pack to add dimension and texture to my project.  What I love most about this card, is the shine!  Using digital images that are printed with a laser/toner printer allows you to foil the images and add so much glimmer to your project!   I hope that you will give foiling a try some time soon!

The Layout:

I designed my card using Photoshop Elements starting with 4.25 in x 5.5 in blank canvas and brought the Seasonal Leaves Background Stamp in and sized it to fill the entire layer.   Next I added the Blessed and Grateful pumpkin image on top of the background by bring it forward.   This is so easy to do on Photoshop and makes for great one layer cards.

The Foiling:

After coloring the Blessed and Grateful and Seasonal Leaves Background with Copic markers, the magic began!  Most people aren’t aware that you can color images, and still be able to foil your cards as the toner is still in place.  I cut down a piece of gold foil and placed it “shiny”side up and then laid panel inside a sandwich of copy paper.  I ran the “sandwich” through my lamination machine twice to ensure a good transfer.

Adding Dimension:

To add dimension and more texture to my card, I die cut a brown piece of paper from the Rinea Autumn Variety pack with a leaf die from my stash.   To add the dimension, I used my bone folder to add the curl and bends of the leaf.  I love how this doubled sided foil paper allows you to create dimension, and holds its shape!   To further embellish my card I used some twine and gold gemstones.
