Hi everyone. Lien here with another Christmas in July project using the Making Memories digi stamp set this time.

I love these bears, so I printed them onto some kraft cardstock at 80% transparency so I could do some no line coloring. For this I used my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. I then die cut a scalloped rectangle around the bear.

For the background I used a plaid stencil and did some quick ink blending with a red ink over the kraft cardstock. I then added a dashline with white gelpen to the diagonal stripes going in one direction and to the other set of diagonal stripes I added a gold line with a gold Posca paint marker. Using a stitched rectangle die I cut a panel from this background.

I added a blue color to the edges of my white notecard by swiping a dark blue ink cube over it. With some embroidery floss I added a little extra detail to the background panel and then propped the background up on foam tape to add dimension. I also added foam tape to the back of the scalloped rectangle and centered that on my card.
