Hello there, Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. For a card maker, July wouldn’t be complete without a “Christmas in July” card!  Today I am sharing one that celebrates Christmas on the beach, complete with fireworks, a palm tree, and a grass skirt. I used Joy Clair‘s Penguin Tropical Christmas clear stamp set to make today’s card.

But before we get into the card, just a heads-up that Joy Clair is celebrating “Christmas in July” with 20% off all Christmas and Holiday stamps, dies, patterned papers, and more. Click on the image below to go straight to the Christmas section in the Joy Clair shop:

Back to the card . . .
I stamped the palm tree trunk, 2 penguins, and their clothing from the Penguin Tropical Christmas set onto white card stock and colored them with Spectrum Noir “Tri-Blend” markers before fussy cutting them out.

Then I stamped the palm fronds and coconuts onto Christmas patterned paper, fussy cut them out, and added them to the tree trunk.

The night sky background was created with black glitter card stock and red and gold embossing paste through a stencil. The ocean and beach were created with dies from my stash and then inked up with Distress Oxide inks and splattered with white acrylic paint. Lastly , I added the sentiment, “Christmas is Better at the Beach!” to finish this card.
