Hello crafty friends! I hope that your Christmas was a very merry one! It’s Danielle, and I’m winding down the New Year with my last card for 2020. For 2021, this card is an inspiration for unity and love and its design highlights these cute elephants and sentiment from the Cutest Love Digital Set. I put this together to share a Cutest Love Better Together sentiment.
Cutest Love Better Together Card Design
To start, I position and print out the digital image and sentiment on to white cardstock. Then, I color the elephants using cool grays and red for the heart. To add interest, I paint their toe nails, hahaha, aren’t they cute?! I cut the image and sentiment out using a stitched arch die-namic from My Favorite Things.
Next, I fold the card base to a standard A2 size (5 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches). To add multiple layers, first, I cut out a kraft color piece of card stock that leaves about 1/8th of an inch border inward from the card base. Then I add an embossed piece of foil that leaves 1/4 inch border on all sides. Following, I add the stitched cut out for the top layer. To enhance the overall design, I add Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents that finished off my card!!! What do you think?! Please leave me a comment below.
