Hi there, Martha Lucia here to share Easy Floral Cards for  Special Occasions. To make these cards you don’t need coloring skills, just a few elements that mark the difference in your designs.

When we use digital stamps is very easy to make the images of the size that we want. I love big sentiments and I love great messages. God Guides Digital Set has both things plus amazing flowers. I just print two of the images that I wanted to use and die cut the sentiment with an embossed edge oval die . Then, I colored the flowers with Illustrator Markers: PV2 & MG5, CR10&CR8, PP3 & CR4; CG1 & CG2 from Spectrum Noir and fussy cut the image with scissors.

To finish the card, I used a contrast color for the card base and a die cut cover for the second layer. To connect the colors, I use the enamel dots, available in different colors and textures at Joy Clair Designs Store.

The next card keep the same concept of the first. A floral card with a sentiment. This time the main image is the big flower and the sentiment is small. I printed both images from the God Guides Digital Set and colored both using the same tones, pink and yellow. For the flower, I use Illustrator Markers FS6, DR2 & FS4, CG1 & CG2.

To make this floral card special, I use a combination of die cuts following the same line of colors. For example, for the card base, I used a soft green, for the second layer, I used a die from Spellbinders, the Shapeabilities Cannetille Rectangle Etched Die on a salmon color. Then, with another piece from other die set, the solid hexagon from the Shapeabilities Sentimental Finery Etched Die, I die cut and resize the colored layer.

My final touch add a shadow color over the sentiment using the circle die to mask the borders.

I hope these ideas inspire you to use your products and combine different lines. With paper and digital images all is possible and you can create easy floral cards for special occasions.

See you soon!
