Hello everyone, Linda Gorman here!. It’s time for another Joy Clair Challenge on the Joy Clair Stamp Projects Facebook Page. This edition has a theme for all type of cardmakers and scrapers, Masculine Cards.  To inspire you to participate , I created an easy masculine stamped card using the the Classic Father’s Day Clear Stamp Set. available at Joy Clair Designs Store.

To make this easy masculine stamped card, I die cut a piece of white card stock measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″  with a stitched die.  With  a geometric stencil, I lightly stenciled the background, gradually fading out toward the edges of the card and using a blue ink with a blending brush.  Additionally, I inked the edges of  the card stock with a darker blue ink. Then, I stamped the vehicle on a white piece of card stock, colored it with blue, black, and grey Copic Markers.  Masculine card stamped with the Classic Father's Day Stamp set by Joy Clair Designs.

With a silver pen, I added details to the wheels, lights, and flashes on the side of the car.  After that, I placed a back sticker line on the card to simulate the ground.  In addition, I stamped the black flames and used Glossy Accents to give them shiny dimension.

I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then, I cut a tail on it and pasted with crafty foam tape.

Finally, I mounted this to a black piece of card stock cut to 1/8 inch larger than the white piece.  I glued this to an A2 ( 4 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches) blue card base with the Glue Pend Dual Tip Adhesive and added blue Nuvo drops for a little detail.

Tip:  If you add drops to your card for a special detail, wait until the card is completed and then add them.  This way you don’t smear them when you are putting your card together.
