Happy Wednesday! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today’s card for the Joy Clair Blog is an Easter card that was inspired by Joy Clair Designs’s March Mood Board, which features vibrant pinks, yellows, greens, and blues, plus Easter eggs and tulips, for an overall Spring vibe.


I used Joy Clair’s Speckled Egg Digital Background and Bonnie Bunnie Digital Set to make today’s card.


Card Details:

  • Created an A2 portrait card base using white smooth card stock .
  • Printed out the speckled egg background on white cardstock and brushed 3 shades of Distress Oxide inks– Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn, and Squeezed Lemonade, over it before cutting down to 4 ” x 5.25 “.
  • Adhered to the card base and added a narrow black frame around it.

  • Printed out the bunny on white cardstock, fussy cut the image, and then colored using my Spectrum Noir “Tri-Blend” markers. (Note how I colored her egg to match the background!)😄
  • Foam mounted the bunny to the front of the card
  • Printed out the sentiment “For Some Bunny Special”, die cut, and then foam mounted to the front of the card.
  • Added 3 black pearls for the finishing touch!
