Happy Friday! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. I am sharing an autumn themed card with pumpkins, flowers, and pinecones — over a soft, blended background of harvest colors.

I used Joy Clair Designs‘s Hey Pumpkin stamp set to make today’s cards. This 4″x6″ clear stamp set includes a large image with three pumpkins, flowers, a bible verse, and four sentiments for fall and Thanksgiving.

Card Details:

  • Created an A2 landscape card base using white smooth card stock.
  • Die cut a slightly smaller layer using yellow cardstock and a cross stitched rectangular die.
  • Stamped the pumpkin image and fussy cut out before coloring with Copic markers.
  • “Painted” the flower with a coat of Mustard Seed Distress paint for added emphasis.
  • Blended “Mustard Seed,” “Ripe Persimmon,” Aged Mahogany,” and “Ground Espresso” Distress Oxide Inks to create a soft, blended background.

  • Splattered the background with Perfect Pearls “Cappuccino” powder & water.
  • Stamped the sentiment “Thanks” from Hey Pumpkin using black pigment ink.
  • Adhered the finished background to the yellow cardstock, adding a brown die cut frame for added interest.
  • Foam mounted the pumpkin images underneath the sentiment.
  • Added 3 brown jewels for the finishing touch!
