Hello there, Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. I love to make galaxy backgrounds for my cards using Distress Inks. Today I am sharing a birthday card for a young person that features space themed images floating though a galaxy. To make this card, I used Joy Clair’s Out of This World clear stamp set.
To start, I created a galaxy background with “Mustard Seed,” “Seedless Preserves,” “Faded Jeans,” and “Black Soot” Distress Inks, before splattering it with white acrylic paint.
Then, after coloring several of the images from the stamp set with my Spectrum Noir “Tri-Blend” markers, I fussy cut them out and adhered them to the front of the card.
Adding the sentiment from the set, “I Hope Your Birthday is a Blast!” completed this adorable card for some lucky child.
