Hello crafters, Joy here with you today sharing a fun birthday card featuring the digital stamp, Make a Wish. I love this stamp set because not only is it perfect for birthday projects, but holidays as well because it comes with a fun pile of presents too. If you change up one of the sentiments you have an instant Christmas card! I just love it when my supplies can pull duty. Let’s take a look…
To create this card I sized the Make A Wish candles images to measure approximately 6 inches wide to fit the front panel of a mini slimline card. I then die cut the panel to add stitching, for example the Big & Little Chain Rectangle Mini Slimline die that can be found in the shop would be perfect for this. I then colored the candles with my favorite Copic combos and added Distress Oxide in the color Tumbled glass along the border to add more interest. In addition I used a sentiment from Make a Wish and die cut it into a banner. I felt like the sentiment needed to pop a little more, so I blended Worn Lipstick around the border before adhering to the front panel. And of course no birthday card would be complete without a little shine so the pearl splatter made an appearance.
Copic coloring:

Y 26, 23, 21
R 22, 21, 20
