No Matter What, I’m Here For You.

Have you been struggling lately in crafting? I know I have been there and always been there. Sometimes I look at all my supplies and ask myself.

Why am I struggling? I pause from staring and start making something else to be more productive. So don’t worry, you are not alone on this. I got you, no matter what, I’m here for you.

Hey friends! It’s Marj of MarjBanzalesDesigns! Today, I have another project that came so easy and just made it in less than an hour. Believe me, I don’t spend time like that on my project. It’s usually hours and hours, lol

No matter what, i'm here for you card Watercolored flying bird

Without further ado, let’s get into it.

For today’s card, I used the Refresh the Soul Digital Stamp Set image and sentiment from Truly Inspire Digital Stamp. These two stamp sets are part of the latest release Springish Fiesta. My go-to card base is always an A2-sized card made from 110 lb. Recollections White Cardstock. I always use this cardstock for everything. Sometimes I even use it for watercoloring as it is thick and has a great texture. This month we have a theme to use for our project – Watercoloring. So no need for me to use watercolor paper. It’s a win-win for me! I also use it for ink blending, die-cutting, and many more. That means I not only use this for card bases. It has too many functions. Lol!

No matter what, i'm here for you. Blue bird with beautiful yellow and orange flower

I started by printing the flying bird from the Refresh Soul Digital Stamp Set onto 110 lb Recollections White Cardstock. Then, printed my sentiment onto Cardstwockwarehouse Sweet Tooth White Cardstock. I let it dry for a bit to avoid some bleeding when I start coloring although it never happens. I used Arteza Real Brush Pens. These brush pens are so handy and can be brought even you are traveling. Not just that It comes with a water brush as well so no need to get messy. I used Blue, Yellow, and Orange in my image and these three colors compliment each other. Then fussy cut around the image leaving a white border.

No Matter what blue shiny bird

For the background:

I used digital paper and adhered it onto my card base. I also die cut a frame and added foam at the back for added dimension then adhere to the front of the card. Used a strong glue for the image and then attached it to the frame. Added a little bit of shine using the Kaleidoscope Powder. To finish it off, added the sentiment “no matter what, I’m here for you” on the left bottom. For some elements, I added a few Studio Katia Confetti.

Thank you so much for dropping by and I hope you like what I made today. XOXO Marj
