Hi there welcome back! Today’s project features Santa’s Favorite from Joy Clair Designs and is an ever so popular slimline design. Let’s take a quick look at the card…
I started out by creating the three hillsides by cutting them free-handed and popped two of the layers up on foam tape. I ink blended some Memento inks to create the depth of the snow. Using Photoshop Elements I sized my images from the Santa’s Favorite stamp set so that they would fit onto a standard slimline card and printed them onto smooth card stock. I’m sure you have guessed, I colored the fun images from Santa’s Favorite with Copic Markers. I used the fun doubled foiled paper from Rinea’s Frosted Foil Variety Pack, and die cut it into an oval for the pond.
I arranged my Santa’s Favorite images on the card front and strategically popped up a few of the elements. I applied a Marshmallow Paste to the pond border and trees to create the fun snowy effect, as well using a white gel pen. Pearl snowflakes from my stash were added to add a bit of shine!
I think this wraps up my card for Joy Clair Designs and I hope you love it!
