Is it Fall yet? As much I enjoy summer, I love fall! The pumpkin patches, changing colors, baking season and of course football! Most off all, lots of extra time to craft with kraft paper! I love using kraft paper to mute bright colors and make them perfect for fall! For today’s cards, I colored on both white and kraft cardstock to show y’all the difference! I used images from both the Hey Pumpkin and the Thankful for You stamp set.

I started by resizing and arranging the images from the Hey Pumpkin and the Thankful for You stamp set to be able to fit in to a 3.5 x 8.5 image. Then I printed them on copic friendly white and kraft cardstock.

Copic Combo : Y 17-15-13, E 37-33-31, YG 06-23-01

For the card using the sunflower image from the Thankful for You, I started by coloring the image with the copic combinations listed under the images, then I trimmed it down with a stitched frame die and backed it with an ink blended panel to match the sunflowers.

And to finish off the card, I added hello die cut sentiment , cut from glitter cardstock and added it to a kraft cardbase.

Copic Combo : Y 35-15-13, E 37-33-31, YG 06-23-01, YR 04 -07-Y 17

The second pair of cards is very similar to first, but instead of a die cut sentiment, I printed it out along with the images I used from the Hey Pumpkin. After coloring the images (using the listed copic combinations), I cut out the panel using a scallop frame die cut and foiled the sentiment.

I was really loving the CAS look of these cards and didn’t add any embellishments, but you are more than welcome to do so! So which card style do you like, white or kraft? Letme know in the comments!
