Happy Thursday! I hope you are all doing well and are having a great week.  Ericka here playing the the digital background stamp called Speckled Egg.

Details

To create this card, I used Word to open and resize the the  Speckled Egg file. I love using digital files because you can enlarge or shrink them to fit any type of card. For this card, I enlarged the eggs to fit on a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card base and printed the digital stamp image and the sentiment from the Bunny Tails digital set with my Brother printer on Bristol Smooth card stock.  Ken Oliver Colorburst Pigment Powders are a great way to randomly color up a background. I used a small amount on my craft mat with a little water to smoosh the color around the paper.

Once my background was dry, I took a black pen to outline the eggs and used colored pencils to add shadows to the eggs. I wanted to keep the speckled look and added white gel pen to highlight them where they were previously dark. I used a die to cut the sentiment and added a yellow and blue glitter paper behind it and propped it up with foam tape.

This background is so fun to color up and makes a great center piece or background for an Easter card.
