Hello Crafty Friends! Rightbrainart here with a new project using Spring Rose digital stamp set from A Ray of Sunshine release. This digital stamp set comes with two big bold gorgeous roses. Let’s get crafty!

First, I printed the rose image and sentiment on Canson Mix Media paper using an Epson ET-2760 printer. Then, I painted the rose using Karin makers – Amber and Gold. Additionally, I added highlights to the rose with a Faber-Castell Polychromos colour pencil in Dark Cadmium Orange.

The background is a piece of watercolour paper measured 5’X7″. I first sprayed the background with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet and Distress Ink Milled Lavender. Then, I dried the background with a heat tool. I then took Tim Holtz Bubble stencil and Distress Texture Paste smeared it on the top left corner and the bottom right corner of the panel. Also, I sprayed Milled Lavender Distress Ink spray over the Distress Texture Paste. I set the background to air dry. Once the background was dry I adhered the rose with foam tape to it. I glued the sentiment on top of the rose. I then adhered the panel on to a 5″x7″ white cardbase.
