Hello friends, Joy here with a sympathy card today. Creating sympathy cards can be really hard at the time of a loss, so I like to keep a few on hand and decided the Refresh the Soul digital stamp would be perfect for that. This stamp set comes with two images and three sentiments that are all occasion items, making it a versatile set.
To create this card, I first printed the floral image from Refresh the Soul onto smooth card stock, as well as the sentiment. I colored the flowers with my favorite blends of blue-violet Copics and then fussy cut the image with my Scan n Cut. Next I used a label die to frame the sentiment and repeated the process with a larger frame in purple cardstock. I wanted to keep a simple background, but I love texture so I used a layering cover plate die. Another alternative for this would be using an embossing folder. Either technique would make for a stunning sympathy card. I matted the panel with purple and then adhered it to an A2 card base.
