Hello crafters, Joy here with you today!!! I’ve been busy making floral cards, and want to share one of them with you. I am featuring the Forever Moments stamp set by Joy Clair Designs. I love this digital stamp as it comes with two gorgeous florals and six sentiments. This was released during the Spring and some of the sentiments are geared toward Mother’s Day, but there are four others to make this an all occasion stamp set. Let’s take a look…
I used Photoshop elements to size my Forever Moments floral stamp to dominate a 3×6 inch panel and printed it on smooth card stock. I chose to use Copics for this project, but really wanted to make my image pop, so I referenced a color wheel. Blue and Violet are opposite or complementary of Yellow and Orange on the color wheel so they contrast beautifully! I google searched this wheel and found it on the Skyline Highschool website in case you are interested
After coloring my floral set from Forever Moments, I die cut it using the Big and Little Chain Mini Slimline nesting dies. I adhered that to yellow cardstock mat so that it would peak through. To finish of my card I splattered it with white acrylic paint and added a vellum sentiment from the same stamp set.
