Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a spring card, perfect for a birthday or other special occasion. I used the new digital stamp collection, Spring Rose, to create this card.
Spring Rose features two big flowers full of details that can be combined, duplicated, or used alone . This set also includes 4 sentiments in two different styles and with different fonts, sizes, and shapes.
To create this card, I created an A2 size card base with gray cardstock and then added a layer created with a wood textured embossing folder over it. I sponged the new Distress Oxide in “Salvaged Patina” over the wood grain and then “painted” it with household bleach for a soften effect.
I colored one of the rose images with a pale pink Spectrum Noir “Tri-Blend Marker” and cut it out using my Brother“Scan N Cut” machine.
I printed out the sentiment, “Today is Your Day,” included in the Spring Rose collection, onto pink cardstock and added it to the front of the card.
