Hi, Connie here with a funny card for that special valentine using the #single set and the God’s Focus set by Joy Clair. The card has a reference to 1/2 price chocolate so it would be perfect for a chocolate lover and a good sense of humor!
To create a background for the card an embossing folder was used on heavy cardstock. The banner was stamped out, from the God’s Focus set, and trimmed out. Color was added using Distress Oxide inks. They work just like watercolors when water is added. The banner and small hearts, were added to the card front, with 3D foam adhesive, along with a snarky sentiment from the #singles set. Twine was added to complete the card. Ink splats are optional.
The sentiment was added, to the inside of the card, suggesting 1/2 price chocolate is in the near future, like tomorrow! Super cute and a quick card to celebrate the love for chocolate.
