Hello friends and happy December! We are officially at the start of crunch time for the holidays! Ugh, all that shopping, the mall (and crazy crowds), holiday parties, wrapping, baking. . .the list goes on! This is Design Team member Crystal Komara here with you today. I am sharing a holiday themed shaker card using the Christmas Joy digital stamp set (released last year). I love this beautiful wreath and I turned it into a shaker card by fussy cutting out the center of the wreath. Shaker cards remain one of my favorite (and I think, easiest) interactive cards to make.
Card details:
The base of this A2 sized card is made from 80 lb. Neenah White Solar Smooth cardstock. I dry embossed a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of the same white cardstock with a script embossing folder and then adhered it directly to the card. I printed out the large poinsettia image on the same Neenah White cardstock, then I colored the image with Copic markers. I fussy cut the image out with a small pair of snips. I cut the center of the wreath out to allow for creating a shaker component. Lastly, I printed the sentiment. Then I adhered the sentiment strip over the wreath. Finally, I added a coat of clear Wink of Stella to the wreath for added sparkle.
