Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla from Nubble Light Designs. Freezing cold temps have definitely set in where I live outside of Chicago, so what better than a cup of hot chocolate to warm you up. Today I have two winter-themed cards, featuring the Joy Clair Christmas Cocoa stamp set.
The set has so many cute cocoa-related images and sentiments for winter cards.
For my first card, I created a white heat embossed background with the snowflake stamp images from the set and then added gold and white splatters.
I stamped the cocoa mug on snowflake patterned paper and fussy cut out, along with the marshmallows and candy cane. I adhered these images onto a bed of gold die cut holly leaves and then added a gold heat embossed sentiment, “Mugs & Kisses“ at the top.
For the second card, I fussy cut the mug out of red and black buffalo check patterned paper and added the whipped cream topping and a candy cane from the stamp set.
I white heat embossed a snowflake on the front of the mug and the “Warmest Wishes” sentiment at the top. Three snowflake sprinkles added a finishing touch!
