Just Butterflies Digital Stamp Set-Two Cards!

Good afternoon my friends!  It is still very wintery up here in the north, and I am ready for some spring, how about you?  With Spring in mind, I have created not one, but TWO cards using the Just Butterflies digital stamp set!

I took the Just Butterflies Digital Stamp Set and copied and pasted, resized and changed positions until I was happy with the placement of my butterflies.  I use the Silhouette Studio software for this but you can also use Word or another cutting machine software like Cricut Design Space.

For the teal colored butterflies I used different blends from the same color family (BG) and mottled the background with cool greys and blending solution.  For the Orange butterflies, I used YR and E color blends and mottled the background with BG’s and blending solution.  Using the same techniques, I get two very different cards!  Do you like to try different color blends?  Sometimes I use blends from one artist such as Sweet Sentiment and other times I use my favorites from Vanilla Arts.  It all depends what I am working on and what kind of mood I am in lol.

Have you seen this project by Betsy?  She prints her butterflies out on patterned cardstock!  I have not tried that yet, but I definitely need to give it a go!  And I love the color that Guest Designer Donna adds to her butterflies, so bright and cheery!
