Hello crafters, Joy here with a fun snowy scene featuring Happy Camper. This fun, clear stamp set features all the images you need for a spectacular camping scene including 3 clever sentiments, but do you ever want to stretch your supplies into the holiday season? I did just that by creating a beautiful snowy mountain scene with Christmas inspired colors for my camper. This was so much fun to create. You have to give it a try!

To create this Happy Camper holiday card I stamped the images with Memento ink and colored them with Copics, but any alcohol marker would work. I originally was going to use three trees to form the background, but I thought the mountains made for the perfect backdrop.

To create the background, I started by printing the sentiment from Love Santa onto smooth cardstock and trimmed the panel down to 4 x 5.25 inches. Next, I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink in an Ombre effect leaving the bottom white. I then blended Hickory Smoke and Weathered Wood through a mountain builder stencil. If you don’t have a stencil like that you can mask the bottom portion the panel off with scrap paper and use torn paper to create the mountains by blending with ink. Once I was happy with the panel I splattered it with white acrylic paint and put it aside to dry. In the mean time I fussy cut the images and by the time I completed the task the panel was dry. I decided to mat the panel with a persimmon cardstock to accent the details of the happy camper, which turned out nicely. Finally I used a white gel pen to add highlights and snow to the camper. Super easy right?
