If you’re in need of a quick card but don’t want to spend the time coloring then I suggest choosing an image that already has detail in it and then adding patterned paper. I used the FIRST OF ALL digital stamp set today for just that reason. This flower already has so much detail that it looks great without any coloring.
I printed the image on white card stock then cut it out. Working with a paper pack means no matter which ones I choose they are likely to work great together. I chose a circle die just big enough to show the flower and cut a circle from one of the papers leaving space at the bottom for a sentiment. For this card I chose to ink up a sentiment from my stash as I noticed the ink in my printer was getting low and I didn’t think it would show up well on the paper.
Both the flower and the top paper are popped up with craft foam to the bottom patterned piece and then added directly to the card base.
