Hello friends, Joy here with a big, bold mandala to share today! I bet you guessed it, I am featuring the Mandala Love digital stamp set which comes with three madalas and four sentiments. I did a little something different for me, by using florescent colors on a large focal image. I did zero blending or shading so this project is perfect for all skill levels. I actually haven’t colored with these bright colors since coloring Adult coloring books with gel pens (many moons ago). Okay let’s get into it!
I started my project by printing The Mandala Love to fill the majority of a 5.25 inch square and printed it with my laser printer. I stuck to really simple coloring using Karin Brushmarkes Pro and did not blend or shade. Once the color was completed I fussy cut the image and ran a black sharpie around the edges to clean it up a bit. I find this really helps especially when matting on to black card stock. To add dimension, I adhered the Mandala with foam tape, but you could leave that step out. Because my image is so bold, I chose minimal embellishments, and simple banner tag for my sentiment. The sentiment comes from one of my other favorite stamps sets called, Floral Joy. Okay that wraps it up for me!
Bye for now!!!
