Hello Joy Clair Friends!  Cathy on the blog with a card for St. Patrick’s Day using Joy Clair’s Lucky Charm Clear Stamp Set.  The stamp set is on sale in the Joy Clair shop, just time for the March 17th festivities!

You can see there are lots of fun sentiments (and fonts) to go along with that adorable leprechaun!!  I had so much fun coloring him that I made him a wobbler!!  It makes me giggle to see him wobble!

Leprechaun Card Design

To be honest, I don’t have much kelly green paper in my collection, but I do have green Deco Foil.  I found a toner card front with a bold pattern and foiled the panel.  Then I colored the leprechaun and pot of gold with my Copic markers.  Once they were colored, I pulled out my scissors and fussy cut them.  I created a flag using the St. Patrick’s Day sentiment from the set.  I’ve been on a kick to try and use my scrap papers, so I decided to create a rainbow with stitched circle dies.  A little cloud die from my collection came in handy to help give some detail to the rainbow.  Next came adding the layers to the card base and finally, I popped a wobbler on the back of my leprechaun and attached him to the card.  My husband doesn’t comment much about my cards, but he said, “I really like that leprechaun card!!  It’s colorful and cute!”  I’ll take it!  This is a stamp set that would be a great addition to your collection and inspired me to make a card for St. Patrick’s Day!  Thanks for stopping by the blog! ~ Cathy
