Hi friends, Martha Lucia here with you. Today I have some cards with texture and stamps to share with you. I am using some of the stencils and stamps available at Joy Clair Designs Store.
Actually you can find in the marked different types of products to create texture, since mouse, paste, gels and many others. However to make these cards, I am using textured paste from Aladine. These spread very well over the card stock and have the shimmer that I love.
DIRECTIONS:
For my first card, I am using the Citronella color with the Diamond Fade Stencil. The process to make this is too simple:
– Secure your stencil over the card stock using washi tape or magnets.
– Apply the must over the surface with a palette or knife always in the same direction. In my card, I always start up to down way.
– Remove the stencil and put in water or clean immediately.
– Let the card stock dry naturally.
In a separate piece of white card stock, stamp some of the fruits included on the Life is Sweet Stamp Set with VersaFine Onix. I colored mine with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. Additionally, I created a embossed edge rectangle and stamped a sentiment onto it. At the end, I just pasted and arranged the pieces with different highs using 3D Foam Squares.
On the above card, I used the same process to create the texture. I just changed the stencil. This time I am using the Water Ripples available at Joy Clair Designs Store. Additionally, I die cut the center of the stenciled layer with a zig zag stitched rectangle.
To decorate this card, I am using some of the images from the stamp set Baby Shark. I colored them with Illustrator Markers and pasted over the card with crafty foam tape.
