Good morning everyone! Maria Pilar here with you sharing my first Christmas card for Joy Clair.
CARD DETAILS
I created a winter scene using Santa’s Favorite Digital Set and the snowflake background. I sent to print the entire digital set on White Smooth Card Stock and I colored with Copics markers, So, I have the other images ready for future projects. To make this card I used the Christmas tree, the penguin with glasses and the message Merry Christmas.
Once the images were cut out, I began to make the composition on another piece of White Smooth Card Stock on a red cardstock decorated with a piece of washitape.
Firstly, with E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Dispenser, I glued the tree under the die cut pasted using Dual Tip Glue Pen, perfect for dies with thin lines. On top of everything, I glued the penguin with Crafty Foam Tape White to get dimension with respect to the background.
I pasted several layers of Crafty Foam Tape White on the message so that it was above the image of the penguin. You can appreciate the dimensional effect in this closer view.
To finish, I added a few drops of glitter pearl to the center of the snowflakes of the diecut.
Here you have all the images included at Santa’s Favorite Digital Set
