Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you! Today I am sharing an easy DIY Mother’s Day card using the adorable piggy from the Mother’s Day Love stamp set from Joy Clair Designs. For this card I only used one image and one sentiment included on the stamp set.
I started by stamping the piggy images of the mama and baby pigs from the Mother’s Day Love set onto white card stock. I colored them with a combination of Copic markers and colored pencils. Then, I cut the image out with a cross stitched square die from my stash. I also added a few dots of Limoncello Nuvo Dew Drops to embellish the layer.
Here is a cut of the finished diy mother’s day card. It is a standard A2, top folding card. I used white cardstock for the base of this easy diy mother’s day card.
I cucount several die cut flowers from a peach cardstock and layered them to build my own flowers. Additionally, I used some Doodlebug plaid paper to cut out the leaves. Then, I assembled my floral spray and added some sequins to the centers.
I stamped the sentiment and then mounted onto some ribbon and then mounted that onto my scallop stitched mat with a patterned paper mat.
Here is one last look at my easy diy mother’s day card. I think it turned out so cute and just love this stamp set!
