Everything Better – October Mood Board Inspiration

Happy Sunday! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today’s card for the Joy Clair Blog was inspired by Joy Clair Designs’s October Mood Board, which features neutrals colors of black, white, and gray with an unexpected pop of gold!

I used Joy Clair’s Everything Better Digital Stamp Set, one of four digital stamp sets in their new Fall Release, “Gather Together.“

Card Details:

• Created an A2 portrait card base using white smooth card stock.
• Cut a black piece of cardstock slightly smaller and scored it vertically every 1/2″, before  adhering it to the card base.
• Sized the flower arrangement to fit an A2 card format and printed it out both on white cardstock and on gold.
• Used Copic markers to color the blossoms in shades of gray.
• Using a gold gel pen, filled in the leaves around the blossoms before cutting the white jar off.

• Cut the jar off the gold blossoms and adhered it below the white blossoms.
• Sized the sentiment “You Make Everything Better” from the same stamp set and printed it out on gold cardstock.
• Die cut the sentiment and framed it with white cardstock.
• Adhered the sentiment to the top of the card.
• Added a plaid bow sticker and a “You” tag from my stash.
