Hi there, Martha Lucia here. This is a fun and easy foiled card and technique that you can create with foam tape!. This card is featuring the You Are Loved Digital Stamps in combination with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Mini Slimline Dies.
The process to make this card is really simple. First I created the card base and then, I die cut a second layer with the large size of the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Mini Slimline Dies. For that, I used White Smooth Cardstock.
In a separate piece of white smooth cardstock, I printed the sentiment and twice feathers. This feather is a stamp included on the You Are Loved Digital Stamp Set. I colored the feathers with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. Additionally I fussy cut them with scissors…my best therapy time!
I die cut the sentiment as a rectangle too and pasted the three pieces over the second layer. Easy and very simple. Now the fun part is coming!
Using foam tape shapes, paste them over the card. You can use any shape available in foam, the same 3D Foams that we used to paste our layers and add dimension. I selected some circular that I had in my stash and after remove the top layer, I covered the adhesive with Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets or scraps of the foil sheets. Just press the foil with the color up over the adhesive for a few seconds and them remove it. Voila, the adhesive is colored and with an unique 3D effect!
