Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here! I have a fun Santa’s Favorite Slimline Card created with images from the digital stamp Santa’s Favorite and sentiment from Christmas Joy.
I am a real fan of the slimline cards. And this is one of these cards that I really enjoy made. First, I selected some of the images included on the digital stamp Santa’s Favorite. Second, I resized them to can create my layout. All in a single layer.
First, I colored the images with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors of TriBlend Markers that I used were Light Green Blend, Green Turquoise Blend and Dark Red Blend. Then, using a stencil from my stash I created the snow mountains just applying a few shadows with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink.
Using the Layered Rectangle Slimline Dies I resized the decorated layer. Then, I created a mat for it with the large size of the Delighted Lace Rectangle Slimline Dies, that I die cut on Real Red Card Stock. I pasted the decorated card over a Crumb Cake card base and voila my Santa’s Favorite Slimline Card is finished.
As usual, I printed all my images onto White Smooth Cardstock. A friendly card stock for ink, printers and alcohol markers.
