Hi Joy Clair Friends, Tia here from RockyMtnCraftia.com.  Many of you have already sent out your holiday greeting cards and bought your gifts. Today, I’m here to let you know there’s still a card you need to make before the BIG day. The gift of a flower card!

If you are like me and will be visiting family and friends over the next week I like to bring with me a host/hostess card. Yes, you may have sent them a card in the mail for Christmas. But what a great way to say thank you for welcoming us into your home for the holiday than with a flower card. A flower card will last much longer than a bouquet and shows just how much you really care!

Another great reason to make a flower card is for any Christmas Eve or Christmas birthdays! I know first hand about this-my mother is a Christmas Eve baby and one of my longtime friends is a Christmas Day baby. Say Happy Birthday with a flower card! I love the Everything Better set because it already comes in a vase and is even wrapped with a bow. And since this set of flowers is digital, you can even get it downloaded and colored before you head out the door.

Wish Them Happy Birthday-With Flowers

I love when flowers come in a colored glass vase. For the birthday flower card I used a red vase and filled it in with Wink-A-Stella. It’s difficult to pick up on camera, but it is very glittery in person.

I used Copic markers in R22, R24 & R29. I achieved shadow with a prismacolor pencil in Indigo Blue (PC901). The white shadow is achieved with Grayed Lavender (PC1026). The golden bow is Y11, Y15, YR24 and the leaves are YG17; YG99.

Say Thank You-With Flowers

I created a slim-line thank you card using the Gina Marie Designs slim line die Pleated Lace. I brought all the colors of Christmas together in this card by making the vase green glass. After coloring I filled the vase with Wink-A-Stella for that gorgeous glittery effect. The same Copic marker colors and Prismacolor pencils were used. In addition to YG09; G05 and G16 for the vase.

There are MANY occasions to give someone flowers and/or a card, but the best way is with a flower card!

I appreciate you all so much for following along with me today! I sincerely wish you and your loved ones love and joy while celebrating whatever celebrations you observe! I hope you’ll continue crafting with us into the new year and after!

Until next time-Get Crafty!

And I’ll see you in 2023!
