Hey crafty friends! This Ann Nicole and today I am sharing my first card made for the DT at Joy Clair Designs. This card is featuring the  digital stamp “Hey Girl” and can be found here as part of the Summerlicious Collection. Let’s take a look of my Hey Girl Textured Card.

Hey Girl an accident!

First, I printed the image on Spectrum Noir paper, once I decided I was going to use my Copic markers instead of water coloring. At the end, I colored this in with Copic markers. You can find the list below. Then I resized the Hey Girl stamp down a little bit with a rectangle die. To embellish it, I added a few rhinestones.
Here is where the happy accident occurred lol. I ran it through my Spellbinder platinum and realized what I was doing. But when I took it out, the rhinestones had been flattened, but not ruined. To my amazement they were sparkly little flattened centers to the flowers! I love how they turned out!

Textured Card Details:

Continue with the process, I took a piece of Schoolhouse red cardstock and ran it through my Designs Tapestry embossing folder. Then, I die cut a sheet of matte silver cardstock with an A2 thin frame dies. Then, I added the red cardstock to my A2 card base. Normally, I use Neena Classic solar crest white 110 lb. cardstock,  and then adhered the silver frame. I knew I wanted this image to stand out, so I added some Scotch foam tape to the back and then adhered it to the base as well. Voila!
I had so much fun coloring this image.  I thought it was so pretty that I didn’t even use a sentiment on it because I wanted all of the attention to be on the image. Be sure to head over to the Joy Clair Designs website and check out all of her amazing stamp sets and other products!
