Hello friends! ‘Tis the season for holiday cardmaking and there’s just 12 days of Christmas left, so get a move on! This is Design Team member Crystal Komara here today to inspire you with a simple Santa themed card using the Love Santa digital stamp set (released in 2021).
I love this Santa set, it’s filled with some very happy looking Santa’s that spark joy!
Card details:
The base of this A2 sized card is made from 80 lb. Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. I printed the jumping Santa from the Love Santa digital stamp set onto the same white cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers and then fussy cut the Santa image out. Next, I die cut the large letters “J” and “Y” from red cardstock. I adhered the Santa between the “J” and “Y” as though to resemble the word “JOY.”
On the lower half of the card I adhered a 4 1’4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of red plaid cardstock. Above the plaid cardstock, and in the center of the card, I used cardstock to create Santa’s belt. This cardstock was a strip of black and then a square of gold glitter, with a small square of black in the center. Lastly, I printed out the sentiment on the same White Neenah cardstock.
