Hello readers, this is Design Team member Crystal Komara here with you today and I’m taking a break from some fall themed cards to share a fun and extra large way to use the beautiful new Extraordinary digital stamp set, part of the fall Wonderfully Release collection from Joy Clair Designs.
I loved the beautiful bee from the Extraordinary digital stamp set, but I wanted it to be the focus of my cards, so I increased the size to 65%. I printed two bees at 65% and then I printed additional bees at their original size. I also digitally removed the flowers so that the bee would be more clean lined. I printed the bees onto 80 lb. Neenah Solar White smooth cardstock.
Card details:
For this first A2 sized card, I used a base of 80 lb. Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. I created a frame from white cardstock using a scalloped stitched rectangle die. I put a piece of pale blue gingham cardstock behind the frame. I also printed two of the flowers from the Spring Rose digital stamp set. I colored these flowers with Copic markers in BG000 and BG01. I fussy cut the flowers and adhere them to the top and bottom of the card using a Tombow dot runner. I placed the large bee on top of the flowers using 3M foam adhesive and added the smaller bees around the flowers (also using 3M foam adhesive). Lastly, I added a coat of clear Wink of Stella to the card for added sparkle.

I put a piece of yellow gingham cardstock behind the frame. I printed one of the flowers from the Spring Rose digital stamp set. I colored these flowers with Copic markers in BG000 and BG01. I fussy cut the flower and adhere them to the right side of the card using a Tombow dot runner. I placed the large bee on top of the flower using 3M foam adhesive and added the smaller bees around the flowers (also using 3M foam adhesive). Lastly, I added a coat of clear Wink of Stella to the card for added sparkle.
