Hi there, Martha Lucia here. Today I want to show you the Mandala Love in 4 different ways. This set includes 3 mandala designs and 4 sentiments.
One of the advantage that digital images offer is that you can easily resize them and place in the position that you want. On the above card, I used only one image from the set Mandala Love in small size. The size that I selected let me color only a few areas of the mandala. I colored all mine with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir.
I just create the lay out placing three Mandalas in a row and die cut the center of the layer with the Connected Thank You Word to make the inlaid technique. Easy and simple!
On my second card, I use the same mandala of the first card but this time in large size. I colored it with Sparkle Glitter Pens and splattered with Dazzling Pat Luster from RG Avenue.
To cut the sentiment and mat, I used the Stitched Sentiment Strip Dies. I layered the card with the same colors to create a great contrast.
One of the best things that I found on these mandalas from the Mandala Love is that you can made it larger, print and colored easily. For me coloring is relaxing and therapeutic. Maybe it was the reason because I pick soft colors from my collection of Illustrator Markers to colored this design.
As final touch, I just add a black mat to the colored layer and die cut a sentiment with a stitched sentiment strip die. In addition, two fabulous enamel dots that will be available this week at Joy Clair Designs Store.
The last one card is using my favorite mandala design with a different or better, not traditional combination of colors.
