Hello there, Martha Lucia here to share with you a new Christmas Joy Wreath card created with the Digital stamp Christmas Joy from Joy Clair Designs.
Christmas Joy is one of the most elegant stamps released this season by Joy Clair Designs. It could be used in many ways. For example, you can print it in laser printer and foiled with any color to obtain gorgeous cards, like many of my teammates have been doing. Also, you can print it and colored the card stock like Crystal made for their inspiration mood board cards (click HERE to see her beautiful cards) or use colored card stock like this genial idea that Joy used to make her beautiful cards (just click HERE to see them).
Or if you prefer you can just resize the wreath image and printed it onto White Smooth Card stock, just like I made and create your own version of wreath.
I included one of the sentiments that came with the Christmas Joy Digital Stamp Set and placed it inside of the circle. Also, I printed the flowers of the wreath to add them later to my design. At this time, I didn’t know where to place it but I just want them to add dimension.
Then, I colored the flowers with TriBlend Brush Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used were Alpine Green Blend, Citrus Green Blend, Yellow Green Blend and Dark Red Blend. I love to use these markers because they are three colors in one pen. Are easy to blend and mix the colors of the same family.
With these flowers, I tried to use the same colors on both sets because at the beginning I was not sure how to use them. However, after coloring the second set, I fussy cut the flowers with scissors and let them a side for a while.
To finish the card, I mat the decorated layer onto green card stock using strips of crafty foam tape. After that, I decided to paste the additional colored flowers as a continuation of the original image. I pasted them with crafty foam squares to have different highs and add more dimension.
