Hey crafty friends! Lien here with another clean and simple card. This time I used the beautiful Spring Rose digi stamp set and some metallic paint to create a foil look on black cardstock.

For this card, I printed one of the images from the Spring Rose digi set on regular copy paper. I enlarged it quite a bit so it would fill my A2 card front nicely. To trace it onto black cardstock, I covered the back of the copy paper in graphite pencil. If you have graphite paper for tracing you can also use that!

Next I used some purple tape to keep my copy paper in place over my black cardstock and traced over all the lines in the rose image. You can use anything to trace this with, I just used a pencil. You really only need the pressure of tracing over it to transfer the graphite on the back of the copy paper to the black cardstock.

I then used a rainbow of Finetec pearlescent/metallic watercolors to paint over the lines. I really just wanted the outline in rainbow. Because I’ve seen the rainbow foiling people do, but I can’t find rainbow foil so I made do. By all means, if you can foil it, please do! It will save you a lot of time.

For the sentiment I just used two alphabet dies by Pinkfresh Studio to die cut “hi” from the bottom right corner in the panel. I then cut those letters 6 more times from thick white cardstock. I layered all of those together and adhered everything on a topfolding cardbase. As a finishing touch I added a couple of holographic gems here and there.
