Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here! Today, I am sharing a slimline floral card. I am featuring the Forever Moments Digital Stamps from Joy Clair Designs colored with ColourBlend pencils from Spectrum Noir.
Many of you know me for long time and knew of my passion for flowers. Digital stamps are one of the most versatile products to card makers. They are easy to keep, manipulate and storage. I prefer to save them by categories in my computer and by brands and of course my favorite florals are from Joy Clair Designs.
I am using one of the images included on the Forever Moments printed over craft card stock and colored with yellow family of colourblend pencils from Spectrum Noir. To make my coloring process easy, I first color each petal with white and then, I applied the different yellow tones. Additionally, I mixed the tones to make the petals more real.
After finish the coloring, I create the card base using Daffodil Delight card stock. Additionally, I cut a second layer with the large size of the Tribal Stitched Slimline Rectangle Die onto white smooth card stock; to create a special mat for my flowers. Then, I resized the colored layer with one of the Layering Rectangle Nested Dies.
In addition, I used crafty foam tape to paste all the layer of the card and give more dimension to it. As final touch, I just added some green enamel dots from the Traditional Christmas Gloss Enamel Dots Collection.
