Hello crafty friends! Rightbrainart here with a new project using the Spring Rose digital stamp set. This gorgeous stamp set comes with 2 large floral images and several beautiful sentiments. Florals are my favourite to create with. I especially love large florals and was so excited to create with this stamp set!
I printed the rose and sentiment on Canson Mixed Media 138lb paper using Epson ET-2760 printer. Then, I watercoloured the rose using Karin markers – Orange Red, Skin 2, Cinnamon and Black Olive. In addition, I fussy cut the rose and set it aside.
To created the background, I cut a piece of white cardstock 110lb to 5″x7″. I used a stencil from Joggles and blended with Distress Oxides – Peeled Paint and Crushed Olive. Additionally, I glued the sentiment on a piece of black cardstock. I glued the stencil background to a 5″x7″ cardbase. Finally, I adhered the sentiment and rose using foam tape on to the stencil background. As final touch, I added Your Next Stamp clear gumdrops to all the circles on the background for dimension and texture.
