Hello crafters, Joy here with you today sharing a card as sweet as chocolate! Chocolate makes my heart happy, and I am guessing it does most people, but when you pair it with a rainbow, how can you not smile? My card features the digital stamp set, Sweet Friend which comes with three images and three sentiments, making for a fabulous set for friendship cards.

I mention this often, but I love digital stamps because you have the capability to size them to any size that fits your projects. In this case I printed them to be about 1.5 inches in length, so that all five would fit on my slimline card design. I use photoshop elements to size my images, but if you are looking for a free option you can do so with Cameo Silhouette software or a Word document. I colored each of the candy bars from Sweet Friends with a 3-4 Copic marker blend and then fussy cut them out. After that I used 5 different Distress Oxides to create the ink blended background. Next I die cut one of the sentiments from Sweet Friend and placed it in the center of the card and arranged the candies around it. I then matted the focal panel with black cardstock before adhering to the card base. And of course, I wasn’t going to be happy until I added a few sequins for shimmer and shine!

Green: G 03, 05, 07, 09
Blue: B23, 26, 28, 29
