Hey Y’all!!!  Teresa here to share a dimensional card created with the Digital Stamp You Fill My Day. This sunflower was my favorite from the first moment I saw it. This set is part of the Summerlicious Collection that you can find HERE.

Dimensional Card Details:

I started by printing the sunflower on Heavenly White Copic paper. Then, I would use some contrasting colors. My selection went with Purple, green and orange look so great together.  It’s certainly beautiful don’t you think.  After printed the sunflower, I colored it with copic Markers. You can find the colors that I used below.

COPIC MARKERS:

• Sunflower (YR07, YR04, YR02, YR01, YG07, HG05, YG01, BG17, BV13, BV11)

Be sure to check out all of Joy Clair Designs stamps.  You’ll find this stamp set and a whole lot more.

The card base of this dimensional card is a beautiful purple.  It’s a traditional size of 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored on the long edge at 4 1/4″.  I love the colors of Halloween together even though this isn’t a Halloween card.

Getting Dimmension

I love dimension with layers.  Especially layers with solid card stock and a beautiful patterned paper that matches.  For the back most layer I used a fun orange with an almost plaid pattern that include colors from the beautiful sunflower.  The orange layer is 5 1/4″ x 4″ and the patterned paper is 1/8″ shy of that.  Gives it a really small border which I like.

The green layer behind the sunflower is 3 7/8″ x 3 3/4″.  Similarly I used the same sizing as the back layer so the green stripe is 1/8 shy of that.  In addition, the green layer is also popped up with foam tape too.  I like doing that somewhere in all my dimensional cards.

The sunflower itself is popped up with a Wobble.  Those things just make me smile.  Reminds me of those bobbleheads we used to have in our cars.  Well only if you are old enough to have had a bobblehead.  Hehe.

The sentiment “The best is Yet to Come” was printed out on the same orange card stock as the background for the back layer.  I decided to cut the edges straight to match the green layer and I popped it up with foam tape as well.  Additionally and most importantly (hehe) I finished it off with some glittery dots in the upper two corners.  You know me and shiny things.

What is your favorite color combo?
